General

What does Lioriq do?

Lioriq helps Shopify merchants create free-shipping messages, publish free-shipping offers, and test which threshold performs better for the store.

Does the app change my shipping rates?

Your normal Shopify shipping setup still controls rates and delivery options. Lioriq manages the free-shipping discounts and shopper messages for offers you publish.

Does Lioriq create the actual Shopify free-shipping discount?

Yes. When you publish an offer, Lioriq creates and syncs the free-shipping discount needed for that offer.

Where can the message appear?

Free supports a top-banner message. Optimize can also show messages in the cart drawer and cart summary when those placements are enabled.

What should I set up first?

Start with one threshold, write the shopper message, enable the top banner, preview it on desktop and mobile, then publish.

Plans and pricing

Which plan should I choose?

Choose Free for one simple store-wide offer. Choose Early Adopter for launch pricing with Optimize features. Choose Optimize for the standard paid plan with Shopify Market targeting, scheduled campaigns, in-cart placements, localization, threshold tests, reports, and winner alerts.

What is included in the Free plan?

Free includes one live store-wide offer, top-banner placement, guided setup, preview, and automatic free-shipping discount sync.

What is included in Optimize?

Optimize adds saved offers, scheduled campaigns, Shopify Market targeting, cart drawer and cart summary messages, localized copy, shopper-currency display, threshold tests, reports, and winner alerts.

Why is there an Early Adopter plan?

Early Adopter is limited launch pricing for merchants who want the full Optimize feature set while the app is new.

How does billing work?

Paid plans are approved and billed through Shopify. Review the current price, trial, and billing terms in Shopify before approving a subscription. You can also review the pricing page.

Markets and localization

Can different markets have different offers?

Yes, on Optimize. You can create saved offers for specific Shopify Markets or keep an all-markets offer as the default.

Can shoppers see amounts in their market currency?

Yes, on Optimize when shopper-currency display is enabled and the shopper is in a supported Shopify Market.

Can the message be localized?

Yes, on Optimize. You can keep default copy and add message versions for published storefront languages or specific markets.

What happens if a market has a different currency?

On Optimize, Lioriq can show the shopper-facing amount in the active Shopify Market currency when that display option is enabled.

Testing and results

What is threshold testing?

Threshold testing compares your current free-shipping threshold with one alternative threshold to see which performs better for profit, revenue, and conversion.

Why can I run only one active test at a time?

One active test keeps the shopper experience and reporting easier to understand. It also avoids two tests competing with each other.

How long should a test run?

Run the test until there are enough visits and completed orders to trust the result. Stores with lower traffic usually need more calendar time.

Why do low-traffic stores need more time?

Small samples can swing quickly. More visits and completed orders help show whether a result is real or just a short-term pattern.

What does a winner alert mean?

A winner alert means the result is ready to review. It is a prompt to look at profit, revenue, conversion, shipping cost, and store context.

Should I always follow the winner alert?

No. Use it as a review signal. Check your margins, shipping costs, promotions, seasonality, and customer expectations before changing your long-term threshold.

Troubleshooting

Why is my banner not showing?

Usually, the banner is not showing because the offer is not published, the placement is disabled, the theme app embed is not enabled, or the offer does not apply to the current Shopify Market.

Why are results not appearing yet?

Results need shopper visits and completed orders. Confirm the offer is live, the banner is visible, and the test has had enough traffic.

Why does the amount look different from expected?

The shopper may be viewing a different Shopify Market or currency. Check the offer's target market and currency display setting.

What happens after uninstall?

The app stops running and no longer updates your offers. If you reinstall later, open the app from Shopify Admin and review your setup before publishing again.
