General

What does Lioriq do?

Lioriq helps Shopify merchants create free-shipping messages, publish free-shipping offers, and test which threshold performs better for the store.

Does the app change my shipping rates?

Your normal Shopify shipping setup still controls rates and delivery options. Lioriq manages the free-shipping discounts and shopper messages for offers you publish.

Does Lioriq create the actual Shopify free-shipping discount?

Yes. When you publish an offer, Lioriq creates and syncs the free-shipping discount needed for that offer.

Where can the message appear?

An offer can use the top banner, cart drawer, and cart summary when those placements are enabled.

What should I set up first?

Start with one threshold, write the shopper message, enable the top banner, preview it on desktop and mobile, then publish.

Pricing and billing

Do Early Adopter and Optimize have different features?

No. Both current prices include the same complete feature set: offers, campaigns, Markets, shopper-currency amounts, storefront placements, localization, threshold tests, reporting, and decision guidance.

What is the difference between Early Adopter and Optimize?

Early Adopter is the temporary launch price at $9.99/month or $89.99/year. Optimize is the standard public price at $14.99/month or $139.99/year. The product is otherwise the same.

Is there a trial?

Yes. Both current prices include a 30-day trial. Review the final trial and billing terms in Shopify before approving the subscription.

What happens to my Early Adopter price?

The launch price remains in place while the Early Adopter subscription stays active. It is a temporary offer for new subscriptions, not a reduced feature tier.

How does billing work?

Subscriptions are approved and billed through Shopify. Shopify is the authority for the current price, trial, billing cadence, renewal, and cancellation terms. You can also review the pricing page.

Markets and localization

Can different markets have different offers?

Yes. Create offers for selected Shopify Markets or use an All markets offer. A selected-market offer takes precedence when it matches; otherwise the All markets offer runs.

Can shoppers see amounts in their market currency?

Yes, when shopper-currency display is enabled and the active Shopify Market provides the currency context needed for the amount.

Can the message be localized?

Yes. Keep default copy and add message versions for published storefront languages or specific countries and Markets.

What happens if a market has a different currency?

Lioriq can show the shopper-facing amount in the active Shopify Market currency when shopper-currency display is enabled.

Campaigns

How do campaigns work with my always-on offer?

A campaign is a temporary scheduled layer over the published always-on offer. When the campaign ends, the underlying offer configuration resumes.

How precise is campaign scheduling?

Choose full-hour start and optional end times. Storefront changes begin shortly after the selected full hour. Leave the end empty when the campaign should continue until it is paused or replaced.

Can campaigns overlap?

No. Overlapping campaign windows and otherwise invalid schedules are rejected, which keeps the active storefront configuration unambiguous.

Testing and results

What is threshold testing?

Threshold testing compares your current free-shipping threshold with one alternative threshold to see which performs better for profit, revenue, and conversion.

Why can I run only one active test at a time?

One active test keeps the shopper experience and reporting easier to understand. It also avoids two tests competing with each other.

How long should a test run?

A final result requires at least 7 full days, 1,000 exposures per side, and 200 confidently matched orders in total, plus confidence and traffic-quality checks. More time may be needed.

Why do low-traffic stores need more time?

Small samples can swing quickly. More visits and completed orders help show whether a result is real or just a short-term pattern. Some low-traffic stores may need a long run to meet the evidence gates, and may not collect enough evidence within a practical window.

What is the difference between a leader and a winner?

A leader is an early directional signal. A winner appears only after the time, volume, confidence, and traffic-quality checks pass.

What happens after I apply a winner?

A test-threshold winner updates the live threshold after confirmation. A control winner leaves the current threshold unchanged. A store-rates outcome pauses the tested free-shipping offer after confirmation. The result remains in history.

When should I test again?

Retest when shipping costs, margins, store economics, Markets, shopper mix, or your threshold strategy changes materially. Keep the current winner live and operating between meaningful tests.

Troubleshooting

Why is my banner not showing?

Usually, the banner is not showing because the offer is not published, the placement is disabled, the theme app embed is not enabled, or the offer does not apply to the current Shopify Market.

Why are results not appearing yet?

Results need shopper visits and completed orders. Confirm the offer is live, the banner is visible, and the test has had enough traffic.

Why does the amount look different from expected?

The shopper may be viewing a different Shopify Market or currency. Check the offer's target market and currency display setting.

What happens after uninstall?

The app stops running and no longer updates your offers. If you reinstall later, open the app from Shopify Admin and review your setup before publishing again.
